Youth Session 1

June 2-5 | Ages 6–8 |1:00–3:00 PM

Chiaozza’s Cartoon Plant Sculptures

Students will explore imaginative plant forms and create their own colorful “cartoon plant” sculptures using simple shapes, bright colors, and playful design.

June 9-12 | Linocut printing | Ages 9-12 | 1-3 pm

In this hands-on printmaking class, young artists will learn the exciting process of linocut printing. Students will explore pattern, texture, and composition as they transform simple ideas into striking works of art.

June 16-19 | Drawing with multiple mediums |

Ages 13+ | 1-3 pm

In this mixed media class, PARTICIPANTS will explore portrait-making in a whole new way by combining drawing, painting, and collage to create expressive artworks.

Youth Session 2

July 7-10 | Color Field | Ages 6-8 |noon-2 pm

PARTICIPANTS will use several types of modeling materials to create sculptures.

July 14-17 | Color Theory Portraits | Ages 9-12 |Noon-2 pm

students will combine tech and painting to create a selfie-based portrait in a specific color scheme.

July 21-24 | Rothko inspired painting | Ages 13+ | noon-2 pm

In this contemplative painting class, students will explore the work of Mark Rothko and his iconic use of color, scale, and atmosphere. Focusing on soft edges, layered color fields, and subtle transitions, participants will create their own abstract paintings that emphasize mood and emotional expression.
